LOCO Business Mixer: The Shift
June 1st, 5:30-7:30 at Commune Café join businesses and leaders of the buy local movement for a fun and informative event. Focused on connections and networking, we’ll spend most of our time connecting, but we’ve invited some dynamic folks for short, “popcorn” style presentations:
- Amy Robinson: LOCO on how local businesses Shift to local products and services & how they will benefit from LOCO & consumer campaigns.
- Darren Barefoot: One Year One Canadian challenge to Shift consumer spending to Canadian-made.
- Kierstin De West: Author of The Shift Report, a market research study that reveals the consumer Shift to local.
- 10% Shift: A BC campaign to reshape consumers to Shift 10% of household spending to locally-owned businesses.
